How It Works
This tool uses Mozilla's open-source PDF.js library to render each page of your PDF onto a canvas at 2x scale for crisp output, then encodes that canvas as a JPG at your chosen quality. Rendering happens entirely in your browser — the PDF is never transmitted anywhere.
Tips for Best Results
- Medium quality is a solid default for sharing or emailing; switch to High for pages with fine print, small text, or detailed graphics you'll want to zoom into later.
- Multi-page PDFs download as a zip file containing one JPG per page, numbered in order — unzip it to browse or import the images individually.
- A password-protected PDF needs its password removed in a PDF viewer first, since browsers can't read encrypted PDF content directly without it.
